The Swiss watch industry, in 1924 stands out for pride and tradition by the appearance of Technos, a trademark that would become famous throughout the world.
In Brazil's history begins in 1956 Technos. This year the company Importer Centaur, from Rio Grande do Sul, Technos begins to represent this country with the slogan: "The most punctual Swiss the world."
The following years, especially in the early seventies, the Swiss watch industry was seriously affected by the new quartz technology, and needed the help of Swiss banks. An auditor appointed dramatically reshape the group knew of industries and successfully implemented for the manufacture of disposable plastic watches, under whose style (the clock ground), currently being implemented today in most popular brands of Swiss watch (see Swatch).
Technos, however, managed to implement a different company.
The company decided to invest in research materials and new technologies, as well as the constant renewal of its lines of watches. It is currently manufactures over 600 models, the trend-setting when the subject is industrial design and innovation.
Relógio Technos S. A. is actually a Brazilian company that produces about one million watches a year and is the market leader, with 35% of its quota. Technos was the first section to receive the ISO 9002 and to win more than 26 times the prize "Lojista Merit."
